1 1/2 cups chopped Granny Smith apples
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg (or use 1 tsp)
1/2 tsp vanilla (or use 2 tsp or more)
1/2 tsp cinnamon (or use 1 tbsp)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup softened and well drained craisins
1 tbsp cream
1 beaten egg
STEP BY STEP:
Make cream from butter and white sugar.
Then add vanilla and beaten egg.
Stir together; all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add to wet ingredient; chopped Granny Smith apples, softened and well drained craisins, and cream.
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
