INGREDIENTS:

2 lbs fresh asparagus
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/2 tsp salt

STEP BY STEP:

Steam asparagus and drain. Melt butter in skillet.
Cook almonds over low heat, stirring constantly until golden brown,
about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat. Add salt and lemon juice; pour over hot asparagus.
