NANA’S APPLE CRUNCH

Grandma’s Favorite Apple Crunch

INGREDIENTS:

8 Apples, peeled and sliced
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Cinnamon

CRUNCH:
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. unsalted butter
Salt (pinch)

STEP BY STEP:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Put chopped, sliced apples in a pan 13×9 and sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon.

Combine brown sugar and flour together in separate bowl. Finely cut in butter until the mixture is crumbly.
Spread crunch over top, pressing crunch down all along edge of pan.

Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees.

Let cool slightly and cut into squares for serving.

TIP:
Use a spoon to fill measuring cup with flour until required amount is obtained.
Scooping measuring cup directly into flour bag will firmly pack flour resulting in too much flour required for recipe.
